Dorian’s career has been devoted to caring for older adults and persons with disabilities since 1979 when she became a Registered Nurse. Her nursing career took her on a management tract, which led her to obtaining a BA in Management and Communication. She identified a need for non-medical in-home care and started Angel Corps in 2001. In 2003, she created Dorian Maples & Associates, Professional Geriatric Care Management, due to the increasing need for older adults and their families to have an advocate in finding their way through our fragmented health care community.
